He soon showed an interest in music and began learning the saxophone. Mills arranged a new deal for him with Decca Recordsand Dorsey has been performing under this name ever since. Humperdinck enjoyed his first real success during July in Belgiumwhere he and four others represented Britain in the annual Knokke song contest.
